Jerry Stamp: A Songwriter's Showcase

Jerry is a world-class songwriter and I am very pleased to have him back for another show.  Those who came out to see him last year, on his "Boats to Barley Tour," know what a talented cat he is.

Over the Bank (Corner Brook Regional High) and The Stringpoppers (Pasadena Academy) will open the show with sets of their own original music.

This event is open to all, but space is limited, so please come early. Though the show is free, donations to cover expenses will be graciously accepted.

Calling all young performance artists!

Here comes another one!  This time, we are trying it out in the evening in hopes more of you can make it out.

Come down to perform, support the performers, or simply sip on some Brewed goodness with the performance in the background.

And please, tell/bring a friend.

Thanks

Ho Ho HOpen Stage for the Underage

Next week I'll be returning to Elwood High, in Deer Lake, to host a very special event: the Ho Ho HOPen Stage for the Underage.  This coffee house-style show will take place in the school cafeteria and will feature great talent from Deer Lake and Corner Brook.

Baked goods, hot beverages, and Brewed Awakening (generously donated to help the cause) coffee will be available at the student council coffee bar.

Admission is $2 or 2 non-perishable food items; proceeds will go to the Deer Lake Food Bank.

Check the link below for more details.

And please, as always, tell a friend.

Thanks.

End of Exams Jam

In celebration of our first anniversary, our 20th event, AND the end of another school year, we're bringing RocketRocketShip back from St. John's for another show.

Joining them will be St. John's hiphop artist Scalabrine, West Street Children, Jon Pike, and the Usual Suspects; DJ Burb will also make a rare appearance, playing sets between sets.

Admission is free, but donations will be accepted for the guys coming from St. John's. And be sure to bring some $$$ for filling your bellies with Oasis chow (their onion rings are some deadly, wha?)

Details are coming soon on an art contest, so stay tuned...

As usual, we'd appreciate it if you told ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS.

The Boats to Barley Tour, featuring Jerry Stamp and Nick Faye

I have been waiting to book Jerry Stamp since first getting into concert promotion, so I am ecstatic to catch him on his way (almost) across Canada.

Along with Regina's own Nick Faye, Jerry is heading out to Alberta and back in the "Boats to Barely" tour. They kicked things off with a Thursday night show in St. John's, will stop for a house party in Gander Saturday, then will descend on Corner Brook for an afternoon show at Brewed on Bernard.

These two gents are sing-songwriters of the highest calibre, and promise to bring their A-game on their way to the mainland.

The show starts at 2 with opening sets by Jon Pike (Wading for Mark) and Owls in the Rafters. It is a free show, but we will be passing the hat around for the guys, as every dollar counts when gas is $1.40 a litre.

Get there early, as space is limited at Brewed.

Check out their music online:
